It is generally not recommended to use a DSL cable from another Fritzbox, as different devices may have different specifications for their cables. It is best to use the cable that is specifically designed for your Fritzbox model to ensure compatibility and optimal performance. Additionally, the DSL socket indicating "DSL 332" suggests that it may have specific requirements for the cable, so it is best to obtain a replacement cable that meets those specifications. **

If the new Vodafone DSL EasyBox is not recognizing the DSL cable, there could be a few potential issues. First, ensure that the DSL cable is securely connected to both the EasyBox and the DSL wall outlet. If the connection is secure and the issue persists, it's possible that the DSL cable itself is faulty and may need to be replaced. Additionally, it's important to check if the DSL service is activated and functioning properly from the service provider's end. If none of these solutions resolve the issue, it may be necessary to contact Vodafone customer support for further assistance. **

When choosing between cable connection and DSL, it ultimately depends on your specific needs and location. Cable connection typically offers faster speeds and more reliable performance, making it a better choice for households with multiple users or heavy internet usage. On the other hand, DSL may be a more cost-effective option for those looking for basic internet access. Consider factors such as speed, availability, and pricing before making a decision between cable connection and DSL. **
