The H115i is compatible with most modern CPU sockets, including Intel LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011, 2011-3, 2066, and AMD AM2, AM3, AM4, FM1, FM2. When choosing a case for the H115i, it's important to ensure that it has enough space to accommodate the 280mm radiator and two 140mm fans that come with the cooler. Look for a case with support for 280mm radiator mounting locations, such as the top or front of the case, and sufficient clearance for the radiator and fans. Some popular cases that are compatible with the H115i include the Corsair 750D, NZXT H710, and Fractal Design Meshify C. **

The Corsair H115i RGB has been reported to have issues with pump failures and leaks, leading to potential damage to other components in the computer. Some users have also experienced software and firmware issues, causing the cooler to malfunction or not work as intended. These problems can result in overheating and potential damage to the CPU, making it an unreliable cooling solution for some users. **

The Corsair H115i Pro is a liquid CPU cooler, so it doesn't produce any sound itself. However, the fans that come with the cooler can produce some noise when running at higher speeds. At lower speeds, the fans are relatively quiet, but they can become audible when running at higher RPMs. The pump in the cooler also produces a low hum, but it's generally not very loud. Overall, the Corsair H115i Pro is known for being relatively quiet, especially when compared to air coolers. **

No, the Corsair Hydro Series H115i comes with pre-applied thermal paste on the water block, so you do not need to apply additional thermal paste when installing the cooler. The pre-applied thermal paste is sufficient for proper heat transfer between the CPU and the water block. However, if you ever need to reapply the thermal paste in the future, it's important to clean off the old thermal paste completely before applying new thermal paste. **

The lifespan of the Corsair H100i and H115i liquid coolers can vary depending on usage and maintenance. Generally, these coolers are designed to last for several years, with some users reporting 5-7 years of reliable performance. However, factors such as dust buildup, pump wear, and potential leaks can affect the lifespan of these coolers. Regular cleaning and maintenance can help prolong their lifespan. **

My question about the Corsair Hydro Series H115i is: "What are the optimal fan and pump settings for the H115i to achieve the best balance between cooling performance and noise levels?" I am looking for guidance on how to configure the fan and pump speeds to ensure efficient cooling while keeping noise to a minimum. **

The Corsair H115i liquid cooling system with liquid metal works by using a combination of liquid cooling and liquid metal thermal paste to efficiently dissipate heat from the CPU. The liquid metal thermal paste has high thermal conductivity, allowing it to transfer heat away from the CPU quickly. The liquid cooling system then circulates this liquid metal paste through a radiator, where the heat is dissipated into the surrounding air. This process helps to keep the CPU temperature low, resulting in better performance and stability. **

The Corsair H115i liquid cooling system is not recommended for use with liquid metal due to the potential for corrosion and damage to the components. Liquid metal is a highly conductive material that can cause short circuits and damage to the pump and other components of the cooling system. It is best to use traditional thermal paste or thermal pads with the Corsair H115i to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the system. **
